If you are in London this weekend and want to add polishing your halo to your plans, get yourself along to the Soho Food Feast 2015, running from 12 to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday at St Anne’s Churchyard Gardens, Wardour Street, Soho. It’s just one of the great things to do in the capital in our new and unique Summer 2015 guide but I especially like this review. It’s helping out a school in need of funds and you get to try lots of fantastic dishes created by top chefs, see cookery demonstrations and have a bash at the raffle (one prize is two Gold Club tickets to the FA Cup Final at Wembley next year). What not to like?

Soho Food Feast
Margot Henderson of Rochelle Canteen and the St John restaurants set up this cracker of a small-scale food festival five years ago to raise cash for a sadly underfunded Soho state school. Visitors buy £2 tokens to sample dishes from participating restaurants, including Barrafina, Ducksoup, Kitty Fisher’s, Koya Bar, Quo Vadis, Wright Brothers, the Groucho and Blacks Club. Expect live music, fine booze and a joyful atmosphere.

From 13 to 14 June.
