As the weather cools in Istanbul, it’s reviews like this one from writer Tristan Rutherford that remind you that every cloud has a silver lining. Brand new restaurant Nopa has the sort of roof just made for a long, lazy lunch or supper while the rain drums overhead. A restaurant so new it hadn’t even got its menu online when we wrote this. Thanks to the city’s coolest interiors agency, Autoban, this acclaimed new address is a winter warmer: think snug gentlemen’s club meets Milanese bistro. Chef Coşkun Uysal takes Turkish cuisine global with Anatolian sosis (a take on the hot dog) and a spiced pineapple carpaccio. DJs rock the dining room post-dessert.
