It’s just under a month until the Istanbul Marathon. This unique sightseeing jogging tour is just one of the innovative ways to see the city from Tristan Rutherford’s excellent Autumn 2014 guide.
Maraton Turk jogging tour
Get your running shoes on for Istanbul’s – and possibly the world’s – only cross-continental jogging tour. The three-to-four-hour guided run starts along the Golden Horn before hopping across to Usküdar fish market on the Asian shores. Runners receive ferry tickets, a cup of Turkish coffee and water en-route. You can even train for the 36th Istanbul Marathon, which starts on the mighty Bosphorus Bridge in mid-November.
