Paris is getting ready for La Nuit Blanche tomorrow evening, which is one of the guide’s autumn 2014 events. It’s going to be 9C during the night and there’s some rain around so remember the coat and brolly. Paris expert Natasha Edwards has great advice for visitors:
‘Staying up all night on the first Saturday in October has become an obligatory ritual to discover unusual artworks staged in venues that have included train stations, hotels, museums, parks and bridges. This year proposes the Grande Randonnée Artistique, a creative hike across the Left Bank punctuated by sculptures, installations and performances. Start early or extremely late to avoid the worst crowds.’
Saturday 4 October, from 7pm into the early hours.
